ABOUT
Tao Delves is a Melbourne-based ceramic artist working across functional and sculptural forms. Working primarily in stoneware, her practice explores allegorical symbolism, Western imagery and the cowboy as a non-conformist figure representing freedom and forging one’s own path.
Through fluid linework and hand-painted surfaces, Delves creates expansive landscapes and winding pathways that evoke both psychological and physical journeys. Inspired by outsider art and ancient Neolithic markings, her work balances raw, intuitive imagery with a considered material practice.
Delves graduated from RMIT University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Ceramics.
